Have Questions?

A note from the director, Lizzy:I loved meeting all your kids today! I was super impressed by their dedication and acting skills! Next week, my Assistant Director Lesly and I will get to see each student sing individually and act more. A couple key things to keep in mind:          Your child is NOT auditioning for a specific part. They will           get to chance to tell us their 3 favorite parts. This is good           information for us but is in no way a promise for parts they           may get.          Everyone is already in the show! So, if kids are not as           prepared as they want to be, or are nervous, please remind           them that everyone is getting a part! Plus, being a part of a           team and building a a show together is the most important           part of this experience.I can't wait to see your kids again next week and continue our try on process!Warmly,
Lizzy
TRY ON INFO1. SINGINGStudents should come next week with ONLY TWO music selections prepared. They don't have to be memorized, but it is preferred and will better show their acting and singing skills! We are expecting students to sing individually and ONLY USING PERFORMANCE TRACKS. If students are nervous and need to sing with someone else or use the Guide Vocals tracks, that's ok. We are not doing a dance audition, but students are encouraged to move around as they perform their selections! The four selections are below, with their measure numbers and time stamps in the tracks. We gave everyone hard copies, but click on any of the song titles below to print another copy if needed:          For the First Time in Forever measures 4-18, :00-:44          Fixer Upper, measures 16-29, :36-1:10          In Summer measures 6-23, :11-:52          Let It Go measures 88-103, 2:25-3:01Below is the link for the vocal tracks.
NOTE: There are 2 folders of tracks, one with voices (Guide Vocals) and one without (Performance Vocals).
Vocal Tracks2. ACTINGStudents should come next week prepared to read ANY of the parts in the scene selections below. They definitely DO NOT need to be memorized, but should look up from the paper while they say their lines so we can see their acting and hear them better. The 2 selections are below, with start and stop marked. Students did not receive this, so please click the scene titles and print copies!                                           REMEMBER
Your student is NOT auditioning for any specific part. We care about how students are acting and showing emotions in these scenes, not the characters names they are reading.
Students should practice reading BOTH parts in each scene.          At the Ball (practice as Anna and as Elsa)          Melting (practice as Olaf and as Anna)          Sauna (practice as Oaken)

Hair MUST be pulled off the face. Options are:
-tied back with a secure band
-held back with secure clips
All hair styles need to withstand lots of movement.MAKEUP
Makeup is not needed and we are not providing makeup. Your child is welcome to come with makeup or put on their own makeup.

BASE LAYERS + OTHER CLOTHES
Your child’s base layers should NOT have:
-many pockets
